Fresh Dough

It doesn't matter how good the ingredients you put on it are... if the dough isn't perfect, you'll never have a first-class pizza. That's why at Pizza John's we make our original dough from scratch, to ensure it is delivered fresh to our restaurants. That's why our Papa John's great pizza bases are – literally – the basis of our success.

Only the best ingredients go into our pizza bases, such as high quality protein, unbleached wheat flour, filtered water, salt and yeast... and absolutely no so-called 'dough conditioners'. Our goal is to make the same original dough of high quality, simple and delicious. Our dough is also suitable for vegans.

Are Papa John's stores or products halal?

In the search for the right meat suppliers, we always make decisions based on animal welfare, food safety and quality. We currently have no suppliers who provide us with halal certified meat.

However, it is possible that products from our suppliers do have this classification. Papa John's Chicken Topping & Chicken Poppers are purchased directly in Thailand, where the meat is certified halal by "The Central Islamic Council of Thailand".

All our suppliers in Thailand are certified to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) food safety standards and to the Animal Welfare Standard, Genesis GAP. Both are internationally recognized standards for food safety and animal welfare. Our suppliers are audited annually by independent auditors.
